This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Android application (Package: com.solarcleaners).

By using the App you agree to this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use and contact us to delete your data.

• Service delivery: Create/manage your account, process bookings and subscriptions, dispatch cleaning technicians.
• Payments: Initiate and verify transactions through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking).
• Notifications: Send booking confirmations, service reminders, and important updates via push notifications and in-app alerts.
• Customer support: Respond to queries, resolve complaints, and provide service assistance.
• App improvement: Analyse usage patterns to improve features, fix bugs, and enhance the user experience.
• Security & fraud prevention: Detect and prevent unauthorised access and fraudulent activity.
• Legal compliance: Fulfil obligations under applicable Indian laws.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service Technicians: Your name, phone number, and service address are shared with the assigned cleaner solely to complete your booking.
• Razorpay: Booking amounts are passed to Razorpay to process payment. Razorpay operates under its own privacy policy.
• Firebase / Google: Authentication, cloud storage, and push notification delivery.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, you will be notified in advance.

• Active accounts: Data is retained for the duration of your use of the App.
• Account deletion: Personal data is permanently removed or anonymised within 30 days of deletion.
• Payment records: Retained for up to 7 years as required under the Indian GST Act and Income Tax Act.
• Support tickets: Retained for 12 months to resolve any follow-up queries.

• All data is transmitted using HTTPS / TLS encryption.
• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain / Keystore.
• Firebase App Check prevents unauthorised API access.
• Payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant Razorpay — we never see your card or bank details.
• Account deletion requires password confirmation to prevent unauthorised actions.

While we use industry-standard safeguards, no electronic transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your login credentials confidential.

Our App is intended for users aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information directly in the App (Profile screen).
• Deletion: Permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw consent: Revoke optional permissions (location, notifications) through device settings at any time.
• Data portability: Request your data in a readable format by contacting us.
• Grievance redressal: Lodge a complaint; we will respond within 30 days.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

Method 1 — Inside the App (Recommended):

1. Open the App and log in.
2. Tap the menu icon ☰ to open the side drawer.
3. Tap "Delete Account" (shown in red at the bottom of the menu).
4. Read the confirmation warning and tap Continue.
5. Enter your password to confirm. Your account is permanently deleted.
